Scholarship

The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a public institution founded in 2002 by the Kyrgyz Government together with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Its mission is to promote OSCE principles and values through graduate-level education, professional training, research, and intellectual exchange.
For the years 2026–2028, the Academy offers three Master’s programs:
MA in Politics and Security (Central Asia), 2025–2027
MA in Economic Governance and Development, 2025–2027
MA in Liberal Arts and Sciences with specialization in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS), 2025–2027
Benefits for students include:
Free tuition
A monthly stipend of 450 EUR
Round-trip travel to and from Bishkek (economy class)
Basic medical insurance (except for Kyrgyz citizens)
Funded internship opportunities in Europe for students with top GPAs

Eligibility requirements: Applicants must:
Be residents of Central Asian countries, Afghanistan, Mongolia, or other OSCE participating states.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in social sciences, humanities, economics, law, languages, sociology, international relations, political science, literature, or related fields. If the diploma has not yet been awarded, applicants must provide a transcript and a document stating the expected graduation date.
Have advanced English proficiency (minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90).
